Before installing the new Cisco Secure Client, please verify you have uninstalled the previous Secure Connect VPN client (if applicable).
VPN Access:
- Verano users will be prompted to authenticate using their verano.com accounts. Please request access via the Verano Helpdesk prior to completing the below installation steps.
- Non-Verano users or Contractors will need to be invited into our Azure tenant before given access.
- Once access has been granted, use your email address and password associated with your organization to access the VPN.
Once the above has been confirmed and completed, please follow the new process below to connect to the VPN. If prompted for Admin credentials during this process, please reach out to helpdesk@verano.com for assistance.
Steps:
1. Download Cisco Secure Client by clicking the following link: Secure Connect VPN – MacOS
2. Once the package has finished downloading, select 'Open File' in your browser's downloads.
3. Double-click on the Cisco Secure Client package on the pop-up.
4. Begin the installation process by selecting, 'Continue', when prompted, select 'Agree' to the Terms and Conditions.
5. Check the following boxes to install the necessary packages, then select 'Continue'.
6. On the final page, select 'Install'.
7. You will receive numerous pop-ups requesting permissions to access different features on your device, select 'Ok' or 'Allow' for these.
8. Navigate to Settings -> General -> Cisco Secure Client - AnyConnect VPN Services -> Toggle On.
- Please note: All three of the below option should be toggled on.
9. Next, go to Settings -> Privacy & Security -> Select 'Allow' next to the Cisco Security Client prompt under 'Security'.
10. Install is complete. You may now search for 'Cisco Secure Client' within your devices applicatoins to begin using the VPN.
11. When prompted, enter the Hostname: b5b9.sc.ciscoplus.com
12. To authenticate, enter your Verano credentials (first.last@verano.com, followed by your password) to gain access.
- **If you are a non-Verano user or Contractor, please use the email address associated with your organization.
